Scan the active drawing for topologically unconnected physical ports on supported pipes and inline assets, then place a visible 3D marker at each exact location.

Built and verified for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2021 on Windows 64-bit.

Three commands

Marker color is configurable, and existing markers can be updated without changing surrounding model components.

Find open ends

Scans supported physical ports in the active drawing's model space and places an oriented 3D exclamation marker at each detected open port.

CLEAROPENENDMARKERS

Clear review markers

Removes marker geometry created by this plug-in without deleting the surrounding Plant 3D model components.

OPENENDMARKERSETTINGS

Change marker color

Saves the selected color preference and updates existing Open End Marker geometry.

Does clearing markers change Plant 3D components?

No. CLEAROPENENDMARKERS removes marker geometry created by this plug-in; it does not delete the surrounding pipes or inline assets.

Can I change the marker color?

Yes. OPENENDMARKERSETTINGS stores the selected color preference and updates existing marker geometry.

Can I download or buy it now?

Not yet. The website does not currently publish a download, price, trial or online-license terms for Open End Marker.
